Unlocking Connections: Hinge Introduces Exciting New Feature for Private Sharing Between Matches

Hinge recently introduced a new feature called “Match Note.” This allows users to share private details with their matches that aren’t visible on their profiles.

To use Match Note, users can visit their profile and add a note just like they do with text prompts. The note is visible to new matches but can only be read once. To move forward, the other person must acknowledge the note to start chatting. If they’re not comfortable, they can opt to unmatch after viewing it.

Hinge aims to support underrepresented groups, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent users who may have specific dating needs. For instance, a transgender person might prefer to keep their identity private in their profile but still want to be honest with matches. Likewise, neurodivergent users can express their preferences more discreetly, and sober daters can indicate that they prefer alcohol-free meetups.

Match Note also helps users share their communication and relationship styles upfront, ensuring better alignment with potential matches.
