Generally, historians see the pyramids as grand tombs built for pharaohs during the Old and Middle Kingdom periods of ancient Egypt. Yet, Jafari suggests these structures might have a deeper purpose. He points out that their unique dimensions and locations could imply they were meant to convey information about Earth’s position and its relationship to cosmic constants.
One intriguing detail Jafari highlights is that the coordinates of the Great Pyramid—29.979234 degrees North—are remarkably close to the speed of light (when you adjust for the decimal). He finds this connection “statistically extraordinary.” This could signal an attempt to encode geographical data for any intelligent observers out there.
The pyramids on the Giza Plateau, including those of Khafre and Menkaure, are oriented with impressive precision from Northwest to Southeast. This alignment suggests the ancient Egyptians had advanced knowledge of geometry and astronomy, potentially enough to create an interstellar map.
Jafari also speculates that the Great Pyramid’s massive structure might influence Earth’s gravity, though experts point out that the technology for such communications didn’t exist in that era. Nevertheless, ideas linking the pyramids and outer space have persisted.
Notably, in the 1980s, researcher Robert Bauval proposed the “Orion correlation theory,” which claims that the pyramid layout mirrors the stars in Orion’s Belt.
