Kolkata: Dilip Doshi, a former Indian cricketer and left-arm spinner, passed away in London from heart issues. He may not be considered a genius, but he certainly knew how to spin the ball. With 114 wickets in Test cricket and 898 in first-class matches, Doshi left a lasting mark on the game.

Born in Rajkot, Gujarat, he moved to Kolkata where he played most of his first-class cricket. He made his international debut against Australia in Chennai in 1979, just after the great Bishan Singh Bedi had retired.
