Further requirements add to the exclusivity. Devices need a flagship chip, pass quality tests, and provide at least five OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Support for Android Virtualization Framework (AVF) is also needed. It’s clear that Google is focusing on high-end models for this innovative tech.
Interestingly, experts have noted that this trend toward exclusivity isn’t new. High-end features in tech often leave out budget options. A study revealed that over 60% of consumers feel shut out by these advancements, leading to a growing divide between the latest tech and what most people can access.
