Srinagar is buzzing with excitement as it prepares to host Bharat Sanrachana – Jammu and Kashmir 2025 from July 10 to 12 at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC). This event promises to be India’s biggest showcase of development and innovation, gathering over 60 top government ministries and scientific bodies.
Member of Parliament Gulam Ali Khatana highlighted the significance of this exhibition. He pointed out that it encapsulates various government efforts aimed at creating a “Viksit Bharat,” a developed India. “It’s more than just an exhibition; it’s a platform for awareness and involvement in nation-building,” he said. Khatana also mentioned how initiatives in fields like agriculture, defense, and technology reflect the government’s dedication to empowering citizens, particularly in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
The event is organized by Tarmeh Events and is designed for everyone, especially students, youth, and women entrepreneurs. Entry is free, making it accessible to all. Running daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, visitors will have a unique chance to engage with India’s development narrative. They can explore thematic areas focused on defense, space, energy, and agriculture, alongside a youth zone for interactive experiences and career guidance.
Among the event’s prominent participants are the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), both pivotal in driving India’s scientific advancements. According to recent statistics, public engagement in such exhibitions has increased, with over 70% of attendees believing they contribute significantly to local development initiatives.
The exhibition will also emphasize the rich culture of Kashmir, showcasing traditional handicrafts and tourism spots, which are essential for the region’s economy. This blend of modern innovation and historical context enriches the experience for visitors and reflects a growing trend: social media is buzzing with #ViksitBharat posts, as citizens actively share their views and experiences related to national development.
In the words of Tarun Jain, the Director of Tarmeh Events, “This exhibition bridges the gap between institutions and people. It inspires curiosity and encourages collaboration for a better future.” So, whether you’re passionate about science, technology, or culture, Bharat Sanrachana serves as a gateway to India’s developmental journey.
