The world of technology is changing fast, and India is at the heart of this transformation. With advancements in artificial intelligence and the growth of digital trade, India’s IT sector is thriving. This energy will come together at the 26th IndiaSoft event from March 23–25 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
This year, IndiaSoft will showcase its strengths as Bharat Tech 2026. It will highlight India’s key sectors: IT, electronics, and telecommunications. The event will give international buyers a clear view of India’s innovation and its readiness to be a global technology partner.
Hosted by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) with backing from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, IndiaSoft 2026 aims to welcome 700 buyers from over 70 countries. This includes markets from Africa, Latin America, ASEAN, and CIS nations, promising significant business opportunities, especially for Indian small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and startups.
Mr. Veer Sagar, Chairman of ESC, noted, “This event reflects the growing influence of India’s technology exports.” The scale of participation signals even greater opportunities for trade and partnerships.
With more than 1,500 exhibitors, including robotics firms, electronics makers, and AI startups, Bharat Tech 2026 provides smaller companies a chance to connect with buyers without the need for expensive marketing abroad. Mr. Gurmeet Singh from ESC highlighted how IndiaSoft serves as a vital link between Indian exporters and global buyers, showcasing the trust in India’s digital landscape.
Delegations from various countries, such as Canada, Germany, and South Africa, are expected to attend, reinforcing India’s position as a reliable digital partner. Mr. Sandeep Narula from ESC pointed out that the event reflects the growing confidence in India’s ability to innovate and scale.
The three-day event will also feature discussions on important topics like women-led AI startups and cross-border data sovereignty. It promises to be a significant gathering with participation from important industry leaders and policymakers, including Shri Piyush Goyal, India’s Minister of Commerce & Industry.
As Bharat Tech 2026 unfolds, it aims to open new doors for India’s tech industry. The event is not just a trade fair; it represents a crucial step for India’s IT, electronics, and telecom sectors on the global stage. Missing out on Bharat Tech 2026 would mean missing a key moment in India’s technology journey.
Recent studies indicate that technology exports from India have grown substantially, making up about 8% of the country’s GDP. This growth highlights the importance of events like Bharat Tech 2026 in sustaining momentum. As the global market continues to expand, India’s innovation and commitment to tech growth will play a vital role.
