Buyers tend to focus on the home’s features rather than the history of the contestants who built it. “People buy properties every weekend without knowing the backstory of who lived there,” she added.

Moreover, Alice emphasized that successful sales often come from how contestants present their homes. For instance, fan favorites Steph and Gian managed to win $1.75 million by treating the marketing like a full-time job.

She also mentioned contestants Han and Can, who received mixed reviews. Despite this, she observed that buyers were impressed by their home’s stunning kitchen during open inspections. “Buyers respond differently than you’d think,” Alice said.

Interestingly, recent polls show that Han and Can are currently trailing behind, with just 3% of viewers believing they’ll win. In contrast, Britt and Taz lead the polls at 52%.

The show perfectly illustrates that perception can vary widely. As Alice pointed out, many buyers today seek a mix of luxury and comfort, especially in countryside homes. This could work to Han and Can’s advantage if they can showcase their home’s best features.
