Ultra-Wideband (UWB) is a cool wireless technology that excels at precise location tracking. It works by sending short, low-energy pulses to measure how long it takes for a signal to travel between devices. This allows for incredibly accurate distance measurements. Because of this, UWB is perfect for tasks like indoor navigation, tracking assets, and creating virtual boundaries known as geofences. With its ability to pinpoint locations with sub-centimeter accuracy, UWB shines in tough environments, making it a favorite in logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare.

In recent years, UWB has received a lot of attention, especially since Apple introduced it in their iPhones starting with the iPhone 11 in 2019. UWB was chosen as the technology of choice for its accuracy and secure communication, boosting its adoption in cars and mobile devices.
