Bharat Recycling Show 2025: A Key Event for India’s Recycling Future

From November 13 to 15, 2025, Mumbai will host the Bharat Recycling Show 2025 at the Bombay Exhibition Center. This is set to be India’s largest trade show focused on recycling and waste management. It will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the latest recycling technologies and sustainable practices.

This year, the show will also feature the Plastics Recycling Show India, allowing for collaboration across different recycling sectors. The goal is to foster partnerships and advance toward a more sustainable circular economy.

Mr. Taher Patrawala, Managing Director of Media Fusion, mentions that India’s waste management market is expected to hit $18.4 billion by 2030. However, only about 30% of recyclable waste is currently processed. This reveals a significant opportunity for improvement. The Bharat Recycling Show 2025 aims to address these challenges by connecting diverse industry players.

At the show, attendees can explore recycling technologies for various materials, including metals, electronics, batteries, and textiles. The metals segment will cover both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, while the electronics section will focus on e-waste advancements. Innovations in battery disposal, vehicle recycling, paper waste management, and textile recycling will also be highlighted.

Support for the event comes from key industry associations like the India Lead Zinc Development Association (ILZDA) and MTLEXS. Several top companies, such as LAMACART and Power Hydrotech, will showcase their latest recycling technologies tailored for the Indian market.

Mr. Matthew Barber from Crain Communications notes the event’s importance as India’s recycling industry gains traction. He stresses the need for discussions on advanced recycling solutions and policies that can help tackle current challenges.

In addition to the exhibition, a conference will address important themes like the circular economy, sustainable packaging, and emerging recycling trends. This platform is crucial for fostering dialogue, sharing knowledge, and promoting the adoption of innovative recycling practices.

Overall, the Bharat Recycling Show 2025 represents a vital step in enhancing India’s recycling ecosystem, focusing on sustainable waste management for a greener future.
