Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], January 27: Happiest Health celebrated the launch of the ‘Technology & Innovation in Healthcare Summit 2025’ in Bengaluru today. The event gathered over 400 healthcare experts and industry leaders, focusing on the exciting possibilities of technology in healthcare.
During the summit, attendees engaged in panel discussions and talks covering key topics like artificial intelligence, robotics, and telemedicine. These sessions offered valuable insights into how healthcare is changing and highlighted the opportunities that lie ahead. Participants also had a chance to connect with industry leaders and innovators, fostering meaningful conversations.
Ashok Soota, Executive Chairman of Happiest Minds, opened the event with a keynote address. He emphasized how three key factors are driving innovation in healthcare: advancements in spatial omics, large-scale patient data, and the growing power of AI. He stated, “These converging forces will lead to more effective interventions.”
The first panel discussion, ‘AI & Tech In Healthcare: Is Adoption Happening Fast?’, was moderated by Dr. Sreenivasan Narayana from Happiest Health. Panelists, including leaders from 5C Network and OncoStem Diagnostics, discussed the rapid embrace of technologies like machine learning and how they enhance diagnostics and treatment options.
Dr. Harshavardhan Rao shared his views on AI in healthcare, especially in medical gastroenterology. He pointed out that while AI may impact doctor-patient relationships, trust remains essential for effective treatment. “If patients don’t trust their doctors, clinical outcomes may suffer,” he noted.
Another thought-provoking discussion focused on the ‘Hospitals of Tomorrow.’ Industry experts highlighted future challenges hospitals will face. Mr. Kumar KV remarked that technology will be the backbone of healthcare in the next five to ten years, underscoring the need for the right tools and digital transformation.
Sridhar Mantha from Happiest Minds spoke about the importance of quality data for AI model training, stressing that not all data is useful. “With the right quality data, we can achieve significant results,” he explained.
Ashish Pratap Singh, CMO of Happiest Health, highlighted the summit’s goal: to spark conversations between tech and healthcare experts and to drive innovation in patient care.
