Scientists have finally unraveled the mystery of the ‘golden orb’ discovered at the bottom of the ocean after two and a half years of investigation.
In 2023, a crew from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) spotted the curious object during an expedition in the Gulf of Alaska, over two miles deep. The live footage captured crew members sharing their astonishment, with one joking about it looking like a scene from a horror movie.
