But have you noticed the little line below the battery icon on your Lock Screen? It runs from under the cell signal bar to the middle of the battery icon. That line signals where you can swipe to access the Control Center. Sure, it can look a bit odd, but there’s a way to hide it.
How to Disable the Line Under the Battery Icon
If you’d like to remove this line, you have to change one specific setting: Lock Screen access to the Control Center. While it might seem like a hassle, this adjustment can enhance your phone’s security.
When Control Center is accessible from the Lock Screen, anyone can change settings like airplane mode. If your iPhone gets lost or stolen, disabling this access can be a lifesaver. It makes it harder for someone to cut off tracking features and limits their options for using your device without your permission.
