This weekend, 30 WPIAL boys basketball teams will showcase their skills at events hosted by the Pittsburgh Basketball Club.

On Saturday, the PBC Hall of Fame Classic features five games at North Hills and four games at Ambridge. Here’s the schedule:

North Hills:

• Northgate vs. Avonworth at noon
• South Fayette vs. Mars at 1:30 PM
• Baldwin vs. North Hills at 3 PM
• Belle Vernon vs. Knoch at 4:30 PM
• Aliquippa vs. Penn Hills at 6 PM

Ambridge:

• Washington vs. Hopewell at noon
• Beaver Falls vs. Ambridge at 1:30 PM
• Carlynton vs. Ellwood City at 3 PM
• Lincoln Park vs. Quaker Valley at 4:30 PM

On Sunday, the PBC Classic continues with four games at North Allegheny and two at the Rize Sports Complex:

North Allegheny:

• Allderdice vs. Chartiers Valley at noon
• Canon-McMillan vs. North Allegheny at 1:30 PM
• Montour vs. Pine-Richland at 3 PM
• Bethel Park vs. Moon at 4:30 PM

Rize Sports Complex:

• Highlands vs. Central Valley at noon
• Sto-Rox vs. Sewickley Academy at 1:30 PM

Shootout in Greensburg

Also this weekend, basketball teams will compete in the Shootout at Seton Hill in Greensburg. Here’s the lineup for Saturday:

• Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Norwin (girls) at 6 PM
• McKeesport vs. Greensburg Central Catholic (girls) at 7:30 PM
• Ligonier Valley vs. Greensburg Salem (boys) at 9 PM

On Sunday, enjoy five boys games:

• Geibel Catholic vs. Mt. Pleasant at 1:30 PM
• Eden Christian Academy vs. McKeesport at 3 PM
• Armstrong vs. Burrell at 4:30 PM
• Derry vs. Jeannette at 6 PM
• Belle Vernon vs. Greensburg Central Catholic at 7:30 PM

Due to cold weather earlier this week, some games were postponed. Here’s the updated schedule for Saturday:

Boys Section Games:

• Imani Christian vs. Norwin at 12:30 PM (Section 2-6A)
• West Allegheny vs. Blackhawk at noon (Section 4-5A)
• South Side vs. Rochester at 1:30 PM (Section 4-2A)

Girls Section Games:

• Shady Side Academy vs. South Allegheny at 1 PM (Section 2-3A)
• Clairton vs. Serra Catholic at noon (Section 2-A)
• Indiana vs. Kiski Area (doubleheader) – Girls at noon, Boys at 1:30 PM (Section 5A)

Stars on Ice

This Sunday, the PIHL high school hockey all-star games will take place at the RMU Island Sports Center. There are five games in total:

• Division 2 at noon
• Class A All-Star Game at 1:50 PM
• Another Class A All-Star Game at 3:40 PM
• Class 2A at 5:30 PM
• Class 3A at 7:20 PM
