Thinking about where to dine during your Disneyland visit? You’re in luck! Let’s chat about one of the unique spots: Hollywood Lounge at Disney California Adventure. We recently checked it out and are excited to share our thoughts.
Hollywood Lounge is a casual eatery nestled behind the Monsters, Inc. ride. It offers a fun selection of drinks and snacks. If you’re hungry, you’ll order your food next door at Studio Catering Co. They have a neat setup, perfect for a quick bite while exploring the park.
Setting the Scene
The lounge features outdoor seating only, so prepare for that if you’re planning a visit. It has a relaxed vibe with lounge chairs for lounging around, but you’ll want to snag a table at Studio Catering Co. for your meal.
What’s on the Menu?
We kicked things off with the Disneyland 70th Celebration Acrylic Flute, priced at $18. It’s a sparkling wine with violet and dragon fruit syrups. The floral notes are light, and while it’s sweet, it’s not overwhelming. The subtle lemon flavor shines, making it a refreshing choice—just remember to give it a little stir!
Next, we tried the Celebration Cocktail for $19.50, which combines tequila, rum, vodka, and glittery blue raspberry lemonade. The blue raspberry and lemonade flavors pop, and it’s perfect for summer. Be sure to mix it well; the bottom packs a punch!
For food, we went with the Lomo Saltado Burrito at $13.99. This burrito features a Peruvian-inspired stir-fry, shoestring fries, and Serrano-lime rice wrapped in a flour tortilla. It’s hearty and well-seasoned, although be wary of the heat from the hot sauce. It’s a bit pricey but shareable—great for a snack!
Lastly, we sampled the Western-Style Loaded Potato for $9.29. This baked potato is loaded with garlic butter, cheese, beans, and jalapeños. It’s big, filling, and definitely a comfort food classic. If you love potatoes, this one is worth a try!
Is It Worth Your Time?
You should stop by Hollywood Lounge if you want a quick, unique meal and some refreshing drinks. However, if you’re seeking table service or indoor seating, you might want to skip it. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, especially the tasty burrito and loaded potato.
