The passing of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, has left many fans in shock. Zinna’s death has not been explained, and a necropsy is pending. A few days before her death, Betsy had taken Zinna to the vet for an unknown procedure, which may explain why the dog was in a crate. When the couple was discovered, Zinna’s crate door was closed. This raises concerns about whether she was trapped without food or water. Typically, dogs can survive only a few days without these essentials.
