Here are some Valley restaurants that fell short on January 15, 2025:

Kung Fu Ramen – 1845 E Broadway Rd, Tempe

3 violations

• Raw eggs stored above cooked beef.
• Beef soup not kept at the right temperature.
• Two knives stored with food debris.

Panchakattu – 5865 W Ray Rd, Chandler

3 violations

• Employee drinks were above the prep area.
• Worker dried hands on their apron.
• Raw chicken was placed above flour.

Bahama Buck’s Shaved Ice – 2235 S Power Rd #111, Mesa

3 violations

• Blenders stored with food debris.
• Whipped topping left out at the wrong temperature.
• Sanitizer bucket was not used properly.

Chilaquiles Modern Kitchen – 830 W Southern Ave, Mesa

3 violations

• No certified food manager on-site.
• Dishwasher switched between dirty and clean dishes without washing hands.
• Raw marinated ceviche stored above lard.

Black Rock Coffee Bar – 2725 E McKellips Rd, Mesa

5 major violations

• No certified food manager on duty.
• Worker not properly washing hands.
• A trash can blocked the hand wash sink.
• Black residue build-up on the ice machine.
• Milk products left out on the counter.
