NASA recently revealed the first images captured by astronauts aboard the Artemis II Orion capsule as they journey toward the moon. The stunning photos show Earth, highlighting its beauty from space.
Mission Commander Reid Wiseman took the pictures using a tablet with a camera. One image shows Earth with auroras shimmering at the edges, while another emphasizes the glow of city lights at night. The contrast of daylight and the moonlight on Earth creates an incredible view.

She expressed her anticipation of seeing similar views of the moon as they continue their journey. “You know you’re going to see it, but nothing prepares you for the breathtaking aspect of it,” she said, moving many who heard her remarks.
