We’re just over a week away from the exciting launch of Season 3 in Street Fighter 6, where the first DLC character will finally arrive.
Capcom has shared a new video highlighting Sagat’s pre-fight animations. This iconic character aims to both intimidate and entertain players.
While we expected a detailed character guide, we instead received a sneak peek at Sagat’s animations. The video kicks off with his selection screen, where developers note his long-range capabilities and label him as easy to play.
In the clip, Sagat kicks a hanging log off the screen and stands tall against his opponent—his impressive height of seven and a half feet really shows he’s a force to reckon with. We also see different angles of his walkout animations and some surprisingly cheerful expressions from the usually serious fighter.
Previously, Capcom revealed gameplay trailers and his full move set, building excitement for the release. Sagat, known as the Muay Thai emperor, is set to debut on August 5, alongside new Outfit 4 DLC options.
Interestingly, Sagat’s return has sparked a lot of buzz on social media. Fans are using hashtags like #SagatIsBack to express their excitement, with many sharing their fond memories of playing as him in earlier versions of the game.
