Unveiling the DJI Osmo 360: Experience Action Like Never Before with DJI’s First 360° Action Camera!

DJI has unveiled its first 360° action camera, the Osmo 360. This new device stands out in the market by offering 8K video recording at 50 frames per second (fps) and continuous 8K footage for up to 100 minutes at 30fps.

DJI Osmo 360 Action Camera

The Osmo 360 features two 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors, which combine effectively to emulate a single 1-inch sensor in 360° modes. These custom-designed HDR sensors capture a dynamic range of 13.5 stops and have an f1.9 aperture, suitable for low light, with an ISO range from 100 to 51,200.

This camera is capable of capturing stunning 8K 360° video, shooting at 30fps, with an option for up to 50fps through upscaling. It also supports 4K video at 100fps and single-lens recordings in 5K at 60fps or 4K at 120fps.

The Osmo 360 excels in battery life too. It can shoot continuous panoramic 8K videos for up to 100 minutes and 6K videos for 190 minutes. Remarkably, it can operate in temperatures as low as -20°C for up to 90 minutes.

For smooth footage, the camera includes features like HorizonSteady, which keeps your shots level, even if you rotate the camera. Another feature, RockSteady 3.0, enhances stabilization further.

If photography is more your style, the Osmo 360 can take still images at up to 30.72MP with a single lens or an impressive 120MP panoramic shot using both lenses.

On the tech side, the camera sports a 2-inch display with 314×556 resolution. It comes with 128GB of internal storage, 105GB of which is usable, and accommodates microSD cards of up to 1TB. Other features include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth, plus you can control it with palm gestures or voice commands.

The Osmo 360 is priced at €480/£410 for the Standard Combo, which includes the camera and accessories. The Adventure Combo is available for €630/£540, adding extras like an Invisible Selfie Stick and additional batteries.

According to a recent survey conducted by TechAnalysts, 72% of smartphone users are considering upgrading to devices that support high-quality video recording. With the rise of platforms like TikTok and YouTube, high-resolution content is in demand like never before. As video quality expectations grow, devices like the Osmo 360 could set new standards for creators.
