Unveiling the Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition 2025: Key Insights from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment

On May 23, 2025, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) announced the Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition 2025. This event, held from May 28 to 31 at the ADNEC Centre in Al Ain, aims to boost the agricultural sector and ensure food security in the UAE. It’s backed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, the Minister of Climate Change and Environment, said the conference will be a vital platform for Emirati farmers. It will encourage innovation and promote sustainable practices. Dr. Al Dahak emphasized the importance of supporting farmers through knowledge sharing and partnerships. “Empowering farmers is essential for our food security,” she stated.

This year, the event will also launch the National Agriculture Museum, a first of its kind in the UAE. The museum will showcase the evolution of agriculture, from traditional methods to modern, sustainable practices. It will feature interactive exhibits and digital displays, aimed at inspiring future generations about agricultural heritage.

Notable sponsors include Silal, a leader in agricultural solutions, and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). These partnerships are designed to strengthen the agricultural framework in the UAE and globally.

The conference agenda is packed with activities. Over four days, there will be 75 speakers, including ministers and industry experts. Participants can join workshops, dialogue sessions, and community events tailored for both farmers and the public. More than 1,000 students are expected to attend, showcasing the involvement of young people in the agricultural sector.

The event will also create a hub for innovative ideas in agriculture. The Youth Zone will attract young innovators, while the AgriTech Zone will display the latest in smart farming. Encouraging home gardening is a major aspect of the conference, reflecting a nationwide push towards self-sufficiency in food production.
