The Nigerian government has launched a Project Steering Committee (PSC) for the Global Environment Facility’s Capacity Building Initiative for Transparency (CBIT). This initiative aims to improve Nigeria’s ability to track, report, and verify its environmental actions effectively.
During the ceremony in Abuja, Halima Bawa-Bwari, the Director of Forestry at the Ministry of Environment, emphasized the committee’s importance.
