The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is shaping up to be an exciting update, but it looks like the battery size will stay the same as before. Reports suggest that the battery will still be 4,400 mAh, which hasn’t changed since the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in 2021.
Over the years, the Galaxy Z Fold series has made gradual improvements. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 brought some nice changes, yet it still lagged behind other foldable phones. For the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung seems to have more significant upgrades planned.
Recent leaks indicate that the Z Fold 7 will borrow features from last year’s Galaxy Z Fold SE. Users can expect a sleeker design and a larger display. The S Pen will also see modifications to accommodate the thinner design.
A tipster on Weibo, Setsuna Digital, confirmed that Samsung aims to enhance several elements of the Z Fold 7. This includes a better hinge, improvements to both the main camera and the under-display camera, and increased water and dust resistance. The Galaxy Z Fold SE boasted an 8-inch display and a stunning 200MP main camera, so expectations are high for similar upgrades in the Fold 7.
Aside from the battery, it’s uncertain if charging speeds will receive any upgrades. It seems the Z Fold 7 will continue to utilize the same charging capabilities as its predecessors.
The new Galaxy Z Fold models are expected to launch later this year, making it an exciting time for Samsung fans and tech enthusiasts alike.
