This launch didn’t come with a big event, but Apple did give some developers and press members a sneak peek. YouTuber Andru Edwards was one of the first to try it out and has shared some great photos highlighting the new color.

Apple describes the “sky blue” as a sleek, metallic shade that changes with light. From Andru’s photos, it appears subtle, even leaning towards gray in some lighting.

Digital Trends also shared some images of the new MacBook Air, which look stunning:

Buyers can select either a 13-inch or a 15-inch model of the M4 MacBook Air. The new chip allows support for two 6K displays at once. Besides the new color, the device features an upgraded 12-megapixel webcam with Center Stage technology.

Pre-orders for the M4 MacBook Air have begun, with availability set for March 12. The starting price is $999 in the US.
