Apple recently unveiled the new MacBook Air, now powered by the M4 chip. While the overall design remains the same as its predecessor, there’s a fresh “sky blue” color that’s turning heads.

This launch didn’t come with a big event, but Apple did give some developers and press members a sneak peek. YouTuber Andru Edwards was one of the first to try it out and has shared some great photos highlighting the new color.
Apple describes the “sky blue” as a sleek, metallic shade that changes with light. From Andru’s photos, it appears subtle, even leaning towards gray in some lighting.

Buyers can select either a 13-inch or a 15-inch model of the M4 MacBook Air. The new chip allows support for two 6K displays at once. Besides the new color, the device features an upgraded 12-megapixel webcam with Center Stage technology.
Pre-orders for the M4 MacBook Air have begun, with availability set for March 12. The starting price is $999 in the US.
