Unlike the whimsical landscapes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Varsapura offers a darker, more suspenseful vibe, with hints of horror throughout its narrative.
The game kicks off with a job application that promises “slight discomfort.” As the player steps into the world of Varsapura, they join a mysterious group called SEAL (Shadow Emergency Alliance). The organization’s headquarters resembles a government building that unpredictably shifts due to strange disturbances resulting from “mindrot.” A recently released 31-minute gameplay demo showcases exploration in this eerie setting, featuring both a tense 20-minute segment inside the SEAL headquarters and an intense driving sequence where players battle shadowy creatures, dressed in unconventional outfits reminiscent of Harley Quinn.
