Urgent Crisis: WFP Depletes Food Supplies in Gaza – What It Means for the Community

On Friday, the World Food Programme (WFP) reported it has run out of food supplies in Gaza. Kitchens that provide hot meals are expected to be empty in just a few days. More than 116,000 metric tons of food assistance—enough to nourish a million people for up to four months—are ready and waiting to enter Gaza once the borders reopen.
