The U.S. military announced that a KC-135 refueling aircraft has crashed in western Iraq. This incident occurred during Operation Epic Fury, a military campaign linked with ongoing tensions involving Iran.

As of now, the toll of this ongoing conflict has been severe. Besides U.S. service member casualties, reports indicate that approximately 1,348 Iranians and 15 Israelis have died, along with victims in neighboring Gulf states as violence spreads through the region.
