The Kremlin has reported that U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and President Vladimir Putin recently had “constructive” talks, as pressure mounts for Russia to agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine. These discussions lasted around three hours, with Russian foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov noting that Putin communicated key points regarding the “Ukrainian question” and received responses from the U.S.
