US Vice President Vance Set to Explore Jaipur’s Iconic Amer Fort During Upcoming India Trip

Dr. Rakesh Chholak, the palace superintendent, mentioned that the Amer Fort management has prepared for special surveillance on the days of Vance’s visit. Besides the fort, there’s a chance he will also check out the famous Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory in Jaipur.

The US Air Force is ramping up activity at Jaipur International Airport in preparation for the visit, with a Boeing Globemaster C-17 landing recently to assist with logistics. While officials haven’t confirmed all details, it’s possible that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join Vance on part of his trip.

Accompanying Vance is US National Security Adviser Michael Waltz. Their visit comes at a time when the US is navigating complex trade relations globally.
