The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express has just launched, and it’s already a hit! Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the train via video link from Varanasi. This is Kerala’s third Vande Bharat service and is run by Southern Railway.

When tickets became available, they sold out fast. Train number 26652, which travels from Ernakulam to KSR Bengaluru, is fully booked for the next ten days. The AC Chair Car tickets for the opening day on November 11 also sold out quickly, with fewer than 50 seats available that day.

Ticket prices are set at ₹1,615 for AC Chair Car and ₹2,980 for Executive Chair Car. The train has eight coaches, offering comfortable seating for travelers.

Here’s the schedule: Train 26651 leaves KSR Bengaluru at 5:10 AM and arrives in Ernakulam by 1:50 PM. On its return, Train 26652 departs from Ernakulam at 2:20 PM and reaches Bengaluru by 11:00 PM.

During the journey, the train will stop at seven stations: Krishnarajapuram, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, and Thrissur. This route makes it convenient for passengers traveling across these regions.

According to a recent survey from Indian Railways, Vande Bharat trains have significantly improved travel times between major cities. In fact, the average passenger feedback rates the Vande Bharat services highly for comfort and punctuality.
