Wentz’s journey in the NFL began when he was picked second overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016. Over five seasons there, he started 68 games and achieved a completion rate of 62.7%, with over 16,000 passing yards and 113 touchdowns. His career has been a mix of ups and downs, including trades to the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders.

In 2022, he began with Washington, marking a strong debut with 313 yards and four touchdowns against the Jaguars. However, a finger injury sidelined him and led to a change in starting positions.

Historically, Wentz has shown resilience and adaptability. In college, he played for North Dakota State, leading them to two FCS Championships. He set a record for passing attempts and completions during his time there, showcasing his talent early on.
