North Park Baseball Shines in Recent Win
North Park University’s baseball team celebrated a solid 7-3 victory over Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The game took place at the Holmgren Athletic Complex, where the Vikings showcased their talent.
From the start, North Park made their presence known. They scored in the first three innings, building a strong 7-1 lead. Sophomore shortstop Kupono Akaka was a standout player, reaching base four times and making five defensive plays without an error.

Relief pitcher Dawson Nuese took over after Titsworth. He handled his first game at Holmgren well, allowing no runs and striking out one batter. Although UW-Oshkosh scored with a two-run home run in the eighth, North Park’s bullpen quickly sealed the game, with Zach Price striking out multiple batters and ensuring the victory.
