Vivident Secures .5 Million in Seed Funding to Revolutionize AI-Driven Character IP Technology

Vivident is making waves with its AI-driven character technology and has recently raised $1.5 million in seed funding. This investment comes from global backers in South Korea, Japan, the U.S., and Hong Kong, including well-known venture firms like Hashed, Mashup Ventures, and TheVentures.

The company is busy building MoeLive, a platform designed to create anime-style characters using generative AI. This project aims to mix the charm of Japanese animation with K-pop culture. MoeLive will allow fans to engage directly with these characters, assisting in their growth. A beta version of the platform is set to launch in early 2025, featuring interactive chats with characters.

The virtual character industry often relies on human performers, which limits its potential. Vivident plans to tackle this issue by using AI to create fully autonomous virtual characters. Their technology goes beyond simple chats, offering live-streaming and multi-user interactions, setting the stage for a new era in virtual entertainment.

With the latest funding, Vivident is focused on rolling out MoeLive, targeting a beta release in early 2025 and a full launch in South Korea, Japan, and the U.S. by the end of that year.
