FAIRFIELD, Calif. – Washington State Women’s Golf had a strong showing at the 2026 West Coast Conference Championships. Three of their players finished in the Top 25, with freshman Kaitlyn Helm earning a commendable 10th place.
Helm’s final round was impressive. She shot a 73, bringing her season average down to 73.92—a new record for WSU freshmen. This achievement ties her for the tenth-best score for three rounds in conference history. Helm managed one birdie on the front nine and an even-par 36 on the back nine.
Sophomore Agnes Brink also excelled, carding four birdies to finish tied for 20th with a score of 73. Senior Hannah Harrison wrapped up her Cougar career with a round of 75, finishing 24th overall.
As a team, WSU ended with a final round of 297, placing fifth among eight schools. This score ties for the sixth-best round in WSU’s history at a conference championship, matching last year’s total.
The tournament took place at the Green Valley Country Club, the same course as the previous year. Eight teams competed over three days.
