Donald Trump has invited several tech leaders to his inauguration, alongside traditional guests like his cabinet choices. Notable figures such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg will be there. Shou Chew, the CEO of TikTok, is also on the guest list.

Trump has been trying to build closer relationships with these tech giants. His campaign relied significantly on social media, where platforms like TikTok, Musk’s X, and Zuckerberg’s Facebook and Instagram played major roles.

Outgoing President Joe Biden plans to attend. This is notable since Trump boycotted Biden’s inauguration in 2020 after losing the election. All living former presidents, including Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, will be there too, though Michelle Obama will not join.

Typically, heads of state aren’t invited, but Trump has made an exception for a few foreign leaders. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, known for her far-right views, has confirmed she will attend. Other invited leaders include Hungary’s Viktor Orban, Argentine President Javier Milei, and China’s Xi Jinping. However, Xi will send Vice President Han Zheng in his place, who recently met with J.D. Vance from the transition team.
