Watch ‘The Boys’: Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins Reunite with Jensen Ackles for an Epic Supernatural Reunion!

The Boys is gearing up for an exciting final season that feels like a reunion for fans of Supernatural. Showrunner Eric Kripke teased the possibility of Jared Padalecki joining the cast, and now it’s official! Padalecki will be on screen with fellow Supernatural star Misha Collins. They will also share scenes with Jensen Ackles, who returns as Soldier Boy.

In a fun video message, Jensen reached out to Jared, saying, “Hey, Jared. We got work to do…again.” To which Jared replied, “Okay. I’ll tell Misha.” It’s clear that the chemistry from their past show is still alive and well.

While details about Padalecki and Collins’ roles are still under wraps, they will be making guest appearances. Kripke, who created Supernatural, has always wanted to bring Padalecki onto The Boys. He even admitted that seeing Padalecki and Ackles together again would be an internet-breaking moment. With the cancellation of Walker, this reunion finally became possible.

As for Jeffrey Dean Morgan, another Supernatural veteran who joined The Boys in Season 4, it’s unclear if he will share scenes with the others. His character, Joe Kessler, turned out to be more complex than expected.

In addition to the Supernatural stars, the cast of Season 5 will also include Daveed Diggs from Hamilton and The Little Mermaid in a secret role, along with Mason Dye playing the super character Bombsight. Kripke hinted that Season 4 ended with a major shift, leading us into “the endgame.”

He explained, “Instead of a villain talking about their big plans, they actually go through with them. Homelander took over the country, and now we get to explore what happens next. This has led to a lot of exciting ideas in the writer’s room.”

Returning stars from the series include Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, and more. Plus, fans can expect a post-credits scene from the finale of Season 4 to hint at more adventures with Soldier Boy. Jensen Ackles is also set to lead a prequel spinoff series called Vought Rising, which will explore the superhero scene in the 1950s.
