In light of this victory, it’s worth noting that teams that start strong in their doubles matches often have a higher chance of winning overall. According to a recent study by the International Tennis Federation, teams that win the doubles point go on to win about 67% of their matches.
Western Michigan’s next challenge is against Ball State this Thursday at 1 p.m. The team is looking to capitalize on this winning momentum and maintain their strong position in the conference.
Stay tuned to see if they can continue this impressive streak!
