The other projects, however, remain under wraps due to non-disclosure agreements.
This revelation stirred hope among Deus Ex fans, as the series has been mostly silent since the release of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided in 2016. The earlier titles, including Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War, each left an impact, but the franchise has been dormant for years. The end of Mankind Divided left many fans wanting more, especially after it concluded with a cliffhanger.

However, in 2022, Square Enix sold the Deus Ex franchise to Embracer Group, along with Tomb Raider and Thief.
