CD Projekt Red just dropped some exciting news: they’re launching a Cyberpunk trading card game! The Kickstarter campaign started with a modest goal of £75,174, but as of now, it has skyrocketed past £2.7 million. That’s quite a leap!
The game comes from a collaboration with WeirdCo, a Seattle-based company known for trading card games. Interestingly, WeirdCo’s mission is to craft games that highlight our humanity, and they claim they don’t use AI in their development process.
The first set of cards will spotlight characters from Cyberpunk 2077, including Johnny Silverhand and V. A second set focused on the Netflix anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is also in the works. Fans can expect the initial deck, titled Welcome to Night City, to be available in 2026.
Pledge options start at $49 for two pre-built starter decks and can go up to an impressive $7,999 for a mega bundle that includes eight starter decks, 1,944 booster packs, and much more.
