Former Nintendo employees Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang believe EPD is likely working on Donkey Kong Bananza, connecting it to rumors from 2021. Ellis noted that if EPD is indeed in charge, we might have to wait a while for the next 3D Mario game. He stated, “This team is fantastic, but they aren’t quick."
