The priciest item in this collection is a multi-device wireless charger. Made from Hermès’ elegant gold-colored calfskin leather, it costs a whopping $5,150. Just for context, a 14-inch MacBook Pro starts at about $1,699.
On the more affordable side, there’s the Hermès Paddock Solo charger. This wireless charging puck, wrapped in the same luxurious leather and featuring lovely saddle stitching, retails for $1,250. While Hermès has not provided specific charging speeds, they recommend a minimum power of 20W, which suggests it can support more than 15W for faster charging. A 3.3-foot USB-C cable is included, but you’ll need to buy a power adapter separately.
Pricing continues to climb with models like the Paddock Yoyo, a double-sided wireless charger priced at $1,750. It can charge both an Apple Watch and any Qi-compatible devices. Alternatively, the Paddock Duo, which also costs $1,750, can charge two devices side by side.
Each of these chargers can be paired with luxurious leather cases that fit various sizes. While the Grand Paddock provides ample space for extra accessories like cables and a power adapter, it’s the biggest of the bunch.
High-end tech accessories like these show a growing trend in luxury consumerism. According to recent studies, premium branding significantly influences buying decisions. As more people seek status through their purchases, brands like Hermès and Apple are perfectly positioned to meet this demand.
