Though he’ll transition from starter to backup, Levis is determined to stay ready. “I haven’t been a backup in a while, but I’m going to keep the same mindset,” he said. The last time he held a backup position was in 2020 at Penn State, before he transferred to Kentucky.

Interestingly, he holds no resentment toward Ward. “He’s been great,” Levis stated, acknowledging their collaboration. He finds Ward intelligent and is eager to learn from him while sharing insights during practice.
