WILSONVILLE, Ore. – Meet Kiah and Emmitt Fee, twin seniors at Wilsonville High School. They are not just siblings; they are teammates and fierce competitors, always pushing each other to succeed.
“People often don’t realize we’re twins until they’ve known us for a while,” Kiah shared with a smile.
These 18-year-olds have played key roles in bringing home multiple championships for the Wildcats. Kiah, a co-captain of the girls’ soccer team, has helped lead her squad to a remarkable four straight state titles. “Watching her grow and connect with her teammates is inspiring,” Emmitt said.
Emmitt has also made his mark. He played a pivotal role in winning a championship in basketball as a sophomore and has achieved back-to-back titles as a starting tight end and defensive lineman in football. “He’s been chasing me,” Kiah teased, while Emmitt added, “I’m still in the game for one more ring. It’s a little extra motivation.”
The friendly rivalry between them keeps spirits high. They often send playful texts to each other before games, wishing each other well with phrases like, “don’t suck!”
Support runs deep in their household. “Even though we’re the same age, I definitely feel like the older sister,” Kiah laughed. Emmitt admitted, “I definitely look up to her more. She’s got the brains, and I’ve got the athleticism. Maybe I’ll find those brains someday!”
Looking ahead, both twins have big plans. Kiah, who boasts a weighted GPA of 4.1, aims to pursue pre-med, while Emmitt is leaning toward a business finance major.
The experiences they’ve gained through sports have shaped them into the leaders they are today. “The coaches and teammates we’ve had have really set us up for future success,” Kiah reflected.
This year, Emmitt is focused on achieving his fourth championship, hoping to join Kiah in the winner’s circle.
