Xiaomi Launches Stellar 15 and 15 Ultra Flagships in Europe – What This Means for US Fans

Xiaomi has just shared exciting news! After unveiling the 15 Ultra in China, they’re now set to launch it in the UK and Europe, along with the standard Xiaomi 15. However, there’s no sight of the Pro version this time. Alongside these smartphones, they’re also rolling out tablets, earbuds, and fitness trackers.

You can start ordering the 15 and 15 Ultra today. The Ultra begins at £1,299 / €1,499 (about $1,600), while the 15 is priced at £899 / €999 (around $1,100). Both phones are driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. They also boast large batteries, rapid charging, and are rated IP68 for water and dust resistance.

Where these models really shine is in their cameras. They both come with a main, telephoto, and ultra-wide camera, each boasting 50 megapixels. However, the Ultra stands out with different sensors for each lens, promising even better photo quality. Plus, there’s an impressive 200-megapixel periscope lens that adds to its robust camera setup. Xiaomi is also offering a Photography Kit for £179 (around $225), which includes a camera grip with a shutter button and zoom lever.

Alongside the phones, Xiaomi introduced the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, both 11.2-inch Android tablets featuring vibrant 3.2K 144Hz displays. They share many specs, but the Pro version is equipped with a faster Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and better camera quality. Prices start at £369 / €399 (around $465) for the regular model and £449 / €499 ($565) for the Pro. The Pro is also available in a “Matte Glass” option to reduce screen glare, priced at £549 / €649 ($690).

In addition, Xiaomi is launching the Buds 5 Pro in Europe. They come in a Bluetooth version and a Wi-Fi version for enhanced sound quality, but for now, they’re only compatible with the 15 and 15 Ultra models. Xiaomi also revealed two new wearables: the Smart Band 9 Pro, which offers better health tracking features, and the Watch S4, a smartwatch that brings back interchangeable bezels, a feature from last year’s Watch S3.
