Juan David Amaya, a climate justice activist and head of Life of Pachamama, pointed out that COP conferences often exclude young people. Despite the challenges, he emphasized that the youth presence at COP is crucial. “We are the generation facing the climate crisis, and we must be part of the solutions,” he said. Amaya believes that the youth’s energy and innovation are essential for finding effective responses to climate issues.
