Before this role, Karani was the CEO of Dentsu Media in South Asia for 12 years, leading the agency to prominence in the region. Currently, she serves as the Chairperson and Executive Director of Kulfi Collective, a media network that blends content, commerce, and culture. She has also been an Independent Director at Jagran Prakashan since 2019 and has helped promote radio’s growth through her leadership in the MRUC Radio Committee.
