Empire Magazine also gave the film a solid four-star rating, praising its mix of humor and discomfort. They noted its similarities to Borgli’s earlier film, Sick of Myself, which also navigates dark themes in a comedic manner.
The Independent went further, declaring The Drama may be the “most uncomfortable film of the year.” It highlights the film’s ability to provoke thought and discussion, which is a mark of great art.
