2025: A Thriving Year for New Businesses at WT Enterprise Center

AMARILLO, Texas – The WT Enterprise and Small Business Development Center is buzzing with activity as new businesses pop up in 2025.

Every January, many aspiring entrepreneurs seek help to turn their ideas into reality. This year, the center has noticed a growth in individuals coming in for support.

“We’ve seen a noticeable increase in foot traffic this January compared to last year,” said Gina Woodward, the regional director. This trend shows a positive shift since the pandemic.

Small businesses play a crucial role in boosting the local economy. They create jobs and provide opportunities for the community.

Brian Enevoldsen, managing director at the WT Enterprise Center, emphasized the importance of new employers. “We need these businesses to ensure that our talented students from WT can find jobs here,” he said. As more small businesses emerge, they help the entire community thrive.

Small businesses are vital for economic growth. They can transform neighborhoods and provide essential services. “Without them, many communities would struggle to survive,” added Enevoldsen.

The Enterprise Center also aims to identify businesses that have a good chance of succeeding. A clear vision and a strong plan can set them on the right path.

If you’re considering starting a small business, the center is ready to assist. They are dedicated to helping entrepreneurs succeed for the benefit of the entire Panhandle.
