Join 1,000 Delegates at NOGOF 2025: Your Ultimate Guide to the Future of Environment, Climate Change, and Renewable Energy!

In May 2025, the 5th Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair (NOGOF) will welcome about 1,000 delegates at the Nigerian Content Tower in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. Scheduled from May 20 to 22, this event is organized by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).

NOGOF provides a platform for showcasing upcoming projects in the oil and gas sector across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. It aims to attract investments and promote local industry content. Attendees will include federal ministers, regulatory officials, and executives from both international and local oil companies.

More than 50 exhibitors from the industry, manufacturers, and researchers will present their innovations. This fair has become a significant event since it began in 2017, featuring project presentations from around 25 industry experts, informative panel discussions, and technical workshops, alongside opportunities for networking.

Organized by Jake Riley, the fair enjoys support from major sponsors like Chevron, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO), and Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), among others. Notably, NOGOF 2025 will introduce the Champions of Nigerian Content Awards, recognizing exemplary contributions to local content development. Scheduled for May 21, these awards will honor individuals and organizations committed to enhancing Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

With the rise in local content expectations, the oil and gas industry in Nigeria is undergoing a transformation that aligns with global trends to prioritize local talent and resources. According to a recent report by the NCDMB, local content in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector increased from 26% in 2010 to 70% in 2022. This shift demonstrates a growing confidence in local capacity and underscores the importance of events like NOGOF in fostering industry connections and opportunities.

The event also reflects a broader initiative towards sustainable development in Nigeria. As the country moves towards enhancing self-sufficiency, NOGOF represents not just a meeting point for stakeholders but a vital step towards economic transformation and growth.
