Poonch/Nowshera, May 21 — Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed soldiers along the Line of Control, stating that “Operation Sindoor” sends a strong message about India’s current stance against terrorism. He emphasized that the world now recognizes the bravery and effectiveness of the Indian Armed Forces.
Sinha noted that India is improving its global standing, becoming the fifth-largest economy and aiming for fourth. He contrasted this with Pakistan, which he described as economically troubled and still supporting terrorism.
His remarks served as a warning to Pakistan, asserting that it has faced consequences this time. “If they dare again, they will remember it for generations,” he stated. He detailed how in just 23 minutes, India targeted terrorist bases effectively, showcasing its military capability.
After a deadly attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives, Sinha highlighted that Prime Minister Modi was swift in declaring retaliation. “Operation Sindoor” focused on destroying terror infrastructure while ensuring civilian safety. Over 100 terrorists were eliminated, and nine camps were dismantled.
The Lieutenant Governor mentioned that Pakistan had been warned about targeting only terror camps, but they responded with attack. Indian forces not only defended themselves but also delivered significant damage to the adversary.
In just three days, Pakistan found itself on the defensive, seeking international intervention. The mission’s aim was clear: dismantle the terror networks without escalating to full-scale war.
Sinha concluded by praising the dedication of the Indian soldiers, declaring that their courage is remembered by over a billion citizens across the country. The message was clear: “Dharma has triumphed, while Adharma has retreated against our might.”
In today’s context, military responses like “Operation Sindoor” resonate deeply amid global complexities. Military expert insights suggest that swift strategic actions are crucial in counter-terrorism. For example, a recent survey by the International Institute for Strategic Studies revealed that timely military interventions can lead to significant decreases in terrorist activities.
It’s evident that the balance between managing global relationships and national security remains delicate. Keeping the public informed through social media and news also influences perceptions, shaping how citizens understand military actions and their implications.
As India navigates its role on the global stage, actions such as these reflect its commitment to national security and counter-terrorism efforts, reinforcing a narrative of strength and resolve.
