LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — In Southern Nevada, food insecurity is a serious issue. Right now, 1 in 6 residents—over 370,000 people—are unsure where their next meal will come from, according to Three Square Food Bank.

To tackle this problem, Three Square has brought back Las Vegas Restaurant Week. For nearly 20 years, this event has been a crucial way for local restaurants to pitch in. They donate a portion of their sales during this 12-day event to help feed those in need.

In 2024, Las Vegas Restaurant Week raised more than $380,000. This generous effort helped provide over 1.1 million meals to the community. Nearly 300 restaurants are participating this year, including well-known spots like the Hard Rock Cafe.

Stacey Rodriguez, the marketing manager at Hard Rock Cafe, expressed excitement about their involvement. “One of our company mottos is ‘Love all, serve all,’” she said. “It’s really rewarding to live that out.”

Jason Lent, the assistant general manager, shared a similar sentiment. He believes that success in hospitality comes with a responsibility to give back. “When we thrive as a business, we can help our community,” he said.
